Actually most American cars from the mid seventies to the early nineties have been much worse than their German (and Japanese) rivals. Fortunately the American auto industry's now starting to get back on it's feet :)

american cars from there start pionts to year 2000 were the best , from 2000 to 2005 they had the worse era in the history , 2006 they began to return to there great history .

you somehow associate build quality with assembly quality.
American car companies get a bad rap for crap interiors because they have interiors made by shit manufacturers (like Johnson controls) which will line the inside of a car for a fraction what superior manufacturers will do. However a lot of american car makers have migrated over to higher quality builders like Delphi (who makes the interiors for nearly all Japanese cars) which is why materials and quality are similar to most "imports".

not bad, and some things (like those tail lights) have begun growing on me. And as blasphemous as it may be to say, this car is at current the closest american equivalent thus far to an S-Class, priced at about half of an S-Class, packing a basket of technology, no doubt "inspired" by the S-Class.

not for nothing, but this car is not a replacement for the LS. The LS was taken out of the lineup, this was put in it. that's about the end of their co-relation.
And Lexus, additionally, is not American, every Lexus in the lineup (with few exception) exists in Japan as a Nissan.

This just shows how much of a life u DONT have, u look on youtube for people that are not EXPERTS at something, go to ur best friend google, and try to make ppl feel like the world is over...
