This Is A Great Song, Got To Say I Prefer Bruce Springsteens Version Though. Bruce Is The Man And Wrote Many Great Songs For Others Like This One :)

Fantastic tune , however when i bought the album DE 7 i recieved a free single with it..."From small things big things come" Probably the reason it never charted.

One of the best nights of my life was seeing this band at Big Man's West in Red Bank NJ 1982,with Clarance Clemmens bartending(It was his bar) and Bruce hanging in the wings waiting to get up and play this song(witch he wrote). What a GREAT night. The Dave Edmunds Band was smoking hot!!

Really amazing! You can never tell whether DE is miming to his track or playing live. He has this mazing uniquity of sounding the same live as he does on record. Now that's amazing production.. I wonder who produced all his records.... and King Kurt... and Stray Cats... and ahhh - he's a FANTASTIC producer.

Springsteen opened the Cardiff 2008 concert with this one! Nice touch Bruce! Stealing back your own song on Dave's home turf.Great intro to a fantastic concert and a nice way of doffing his cap to an old friend.
Oh, I wonder whatever happened to that presenter? |
