when the in dash dvd player was installed in your lincoln, do your steering wheel volume controls still work or does that disable them?

the LS v6 has the problems with Transmission... An easy way to make sure you dont shit out it, b/c its RWD, When backing up stop the car completely before u put it in drive or your tranny will take a shit soon.. my friend fuked it up and cost him 2k + for damage.
