Some thoughts:
-I hate that bland rear end
-The cheap rear heated seat buttons are disappointingly typical of a Ford product
-This car is based off the same off the same platform as the Volvo S80, so it's not just another upscale Ford econobox
-The capless fuel filling system is an interesting innovation

Went to a dealer to look at the MKS and was turned off when I started to talk numbers and the dealer would not budge more than $700 off the MRSP. The car was $46,070 and I looked at the invoice price online at $42.134. take off the $700 and the dealer wants to profit $3,236 plus the 2% holdback of $921, total $4,157. I laughed and walked out the door.I have a Mercedes coming off of lease and was willing to give an a American car a shot. What a joke. I will stay with the imports!.

This guy does not know anything about cars. You need know that all the cars that AC seats have perforated seats. When have you seen the new Taurus.

For $46,600 you get alot of technology in this car but, its probably smart to do a 2 year LEASE rather than buy it before the TT V6 comes out.
I like the car's interior. My dealer has a bunch of em.

"The MKS seems promising, but it's really conventional looking..."
I like the looks but it certainly isn't as distinctive as what Caddy is doing (love or hate the Caddy's). It seems handsome but not incredibly unusual (which is OK) - maybe halfway between a Buick Invicta and Jag XF. |
