Ever thought about using a 5 spd out of a mustang, i've seen one person do that b4. Only beacause the automatic broke and had a 5 spd laying around.

i dont believe lincoln ever had a 4.2
in fact the only 4.2 i believe ford has is that v6... you know, the one based off a stroked 3.8... you know, that engine that SHOULD have never been made... just a waste of cast iron... i mean if ford wanted to go off and get a start in the boat anchor buisness, they didn't have to be all sneaky about it and go and start casting 3.8L V6 blocks...

it made 430 to the wheels, on a mustang dyno. everything is still has all the factory options, and the a/c still works.

I discovered that with turbo engines high lift cams can loose u power, wierd, even my car, the turbo version has 20 degrees less inlet duration.
Friend put a kent cam on an rs turbo, it was horrible.
Nice car, this lincoln, very understated. |
